Golf

Let me be honest. I could never put this much effort into a badminton client. Being obsessed with the game, golf-related projects are among the most enjoyable for me. Over the past several years I’ve worked on identity, marketing material, member event communications, and match play boards for many golf clubs.

Fore the love of golf

Fore the Love of Golf was born out of just that - my love of golf. I’ve created a brand celebrating the roller coaster of emotions that each round of golf can put anyone through, and the result is a unique interpretation of the iconic Cupid’s Arrow, as those who are struck with it always fall in love with the game. have a look at: www.FOREtheLOVEofGOLF.ca and I hope you like my products as much as I enjoy creating them. Who knows, you might even see something you’d like to order.

Feature 3
THE EYEBALL

Would you like your golf ball to have a better sense of direction? Would you like to equip it with the tools for success?

Of course you would. So why not give it the ability to see where the hell it’s going, thus avoiding as many hazardous situations or watery graves as possible?

If you agree, the EyeBall is the ball for you.

When it comes to golf, you know the truth of the matter: If you’re truly confident that something helps, then you’ll likely produce a better swing, stroke and result.

Coppinwood has been an enjoyable labour of love for me. Going there in person as I do, and getting first-hand feedback from members as well as its staff, always gives me a sense of pride and satisfaction.

“Don has been working with us at here at Coppinwood over the last 10+ years doing our promotional material, logos, match play boards, etc., and is a pleasure to collaborate with. His quality of work, professionalism and attention to detail meets the gold standard expected from our membership.”

Michael Delic, Associate Golf Professional, Coppinwood Golf Club.

Match Play boards.
Of course I play golf, so of course these Match Play boards are fun to create. They come in all shapes and sizes, and are customized for each club using their unique images and logos. They keep everyone updated without having to search online—and getting away from yet more screen time is a big part of golf now, right? Every club I’ve done these for has the same fantastic reaction: their members greatly enjoy them throughout the course of the golf season. As a bonus, the winners get to put them up in their personal Halls of Fame.

“I look into eyes, shake their hand, pat their back, and wish them luck, but I am thinking, I am going to bury you.”

“One of the most fascinating things about golf is how it reflects the cycle of life. No matter what you shoot – the next day you have to go back to the first tee and begin all over again and make yourself into something.”

TOP 100 golf courses

“Forgy” (Dave Forgan) has now completed his mission of playing the Top 100 World and Top 100 US golf courses. No small achievement, as you can well imagine. He also has about ten golf buddies trying to do the same thing, so he decided to get one of these boards made up for each of them. Since I was the one creating these boards anyway, I had one made for myself as well. Six years later, I’m at 8/100 in the World, and 3/100 in the US, so don’t hold your breath that my board will EVER come close to being completed.

The idea here is after you play a course, you apply one of the supplied golf ball stickers over the cup beside that course name.

Feature 11
OTHER SPORTing eventS

These swanky boards can also be created for sporting events other than golf.
